Each paver is made of a web of interconnected hexagonal cells which feature unique domed openings to promote a greater flow of water, oxygen, and nutrients for healthy root growth. The Tufftrack Paver comes in a 2 ft. X 2 ft. panel with 120 nested hexagonal cells and 22 connection points. Panels clip together with the tongue-and-groove locking system to create an integral paver mat.

Applications

  • An alternative to traditional paving methods such as concrete and asphalt, Tufftrack® Grass Pavers create a durable and drivable grass surface that can support heavy vehicles while blending into the surroundings.
  • Ideal for emergency vehicle access roads, parking lots, golf cart paths, jogging tracks, bike paths, ATV paths, equestrian parks, trail reinforcements, and runoff areas.
  • Best used in areas where subsoil infiltrates the water; poor draining soil may require an underdrain.

Installation & Maintenance

  1. Lay pavers out over prepared base.
  2. Clip panels together with tongue-and-groove locking system to create an integral paver mat.
  3. Add soil infill; top with sod or seed; see technical guide for details.
  4. Periodically check for damage and replace panel as needed; see maintenance and operation guide for details.

 

 

Materials & Sustainability

  • Paver cells made with polypropylene (PP) containing recycled content; treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking.
  • Pavers are responsibly constructed using recycled materials; pavers reduce stormwater runoff; slow down erosion; recharge groundwater by allowing water to absorb into the ground.
